Google AdWords Essentials - Comparing Google AdWords and Google AdSense

So, a man handed down two books from the same author but with different covers: one is in hard bound cover but the other one is in ebook format. So, what's the difference? You can read the same content and enjoy the same mind-wracking experience of reading the entire story with heart's satisfaction. Browsing through the same pages and savoring the endless journey with the same of style presentation brings you to the question: which is which?

That is the case of AdWords and AdSense - both are from Google but they are so very different. AdWords is the main source of Google's highest revenue by placing the most ads for text, rich-media and banner on its websites. However, AdSense is the web application developed by Google to run image, text, and video advertisements.

How does one differ from the other? AdWords is where advertisers use the website by Google to campaign for a business or product based on a pay-per-click arrangement. Google places the advertisement online and then an Internet user can click on the link.

Moreover, AdWords is an ad-selling program where clients are billed on pay-per-click payment but AdSense is an ad-publishing program where subscribers are paid on a per-click basis.

You can use either of the two for your advertising. With a Google AdWords account, it provides you the ability to customize each of the links that you are going to provide. You can use optimization buttons to make sure to manage the traffic on the account easily.

In AdSense, a different setting is provided by Google. Google will be the one to place any website supported on the subscribers' page.

When it comes to payment terms, AdWords is priced accordingly through pay-per-click basis while AdSense is based on per-click impression or per-click basis. Both can be funded through credit cards but AdSense has a special arrangement through the availability of transferring funds.

Both of these programs come from Google and both spell convenience. The decision though lies on your marketing style, budgeting capacity, buying power of your intended audience and also your personal preferences.
